The Morph Concept Phone from Nokia
Another innovative design concept from Nokia, the morph concept. Featured in The Museum of Modern Art ?Design and The Elastic Mind? exhibition, the Morph concept device is a bridge between highly advanced technologies and their potential benefits to end-users. Developed by NRC (Nokia Research Center) in collaboration with the Cambridge Nanoscience Centre (United Kingdom), Morph is a concept phone that using nanotechnology which enables materials and components that are flexible, stretchable, transparent and remarkably strong. Users should be able to transform their cell phone into different shapes.
From the website :
“Morph concept technologies might create fantastic opportunities for mobile devices: * Newly-enabled flexible and transparent materials blend more seamlessly with the way we live
* Devices become self-cleaning and self-preserving
* Transparent electronics offering an entirely new aesthetic dimension
* Built-in solar absorption might charge a device, whilst batteries become smaller, longer lasting and faster to charge
* Integrated sensors might allow us to learn more about the environment around us, empowering us to make better choices”
We probably see this technology another 5-7 years in the future, by using nanotechnology, hopefully can lead to low cost manufacturing solutions and the possibility of integrating complex functionality at a low price.

Weirdest Event in Finlandia, EVER!
Finland Offers the World's Weirdest Events
If you're looking for weird events, go to Finland. You won't believe what the Finns are up to when it comes to weird annual events, contests, and similar activities...and so here they are, the world's 13 weirdest events!
1. Wife Carrying World Championships
Each summer, this weird event in Sonkajärvi, Finland, becomes more and more popular. The wife-carrying contest has been at a world championship level for over 13 years now.
2. World Cell Phone Throwing Championships
Finland is the home of cellphone manufacturer Nokia, but it is unclear if they have anything to do with this weird event. Ever wanted to throw your phone? Join the World Cell Phone Throwing Championships taking place each August in Savonlinna, Finland.
3. Air Guitar World Championship
A weird event for music lovers: The Air Guitar World Championship in Oulu, Finland. Ever played the air guitar? It's not easy to get in as a contestant, but it's a lot of fun to watch. Part of the Oulu Music Video Festival in late summer.
4. Mosquito Swatting Championships
This is one of the weirder ones: Try swatting as many mosquitoes as you can, in 5 minutes. Can you swat 20 or 30? If not, learn from the pros at the annual Mosquito Swatting Championships in Finland.
5. Ant-Nest Sitting Competition
Let's sit on an ant nest! Well, if you're not quite up for that, just watch and enjoy the contestants suffer while they place their buttocks on an ant hill for as long as possible... (Various locations in Finland.)
6. Ice Swimming Events
Whether in the nude, or clothed, ice swimming is popular in Finland (e.g. in Helsinki). There are events in many areas. So whether you're looking for a quick ice-cold shock, or nude beaches in Scandinavia, Finland is the destination for you!
7. World Cup in Snowshoe Football
Finland also has football (for USians: soccer)! No, not the regular kind, but the unique kind: Snowshow Football. Goooal!
8. Finnish Sauna World Championships
Not quite as weird as other annual events in Finland, the Sauna World Championships test how long the competitors can tolerate a humid 110º Celsius in a Finnish sauna. A very popular annual event in Heinola, Finland, taking place each August. Perspire, and persevere!
9. Kutemajarvi Sex Festival & Matchmaking Festival
Both summer festivals are of course aimed at adult visitors, but are kept very professional, educational, and tasteful. The town of Kangasniemi hosts the Sex Festival, while the Matchmaking Festival takes place in Kurikka, in western Finland. Remember, sexuality in Scandinavia is not a taboo.
10. Swamp Soccer World Championships
Looking for a weird sports event? Go to the world championship of swamp football - or swamp soccer. It requires the body to be much more physical and coordinated. Hyrynsalmi in northern Finland

Head's new album...
Brian "Head" Welch is from Bakersfield, California. At the tender age of 11, Head picked up a guitar and found his original calling. Barely out of high school, he helped found the controversial rock band Korn. The band became a grammy award winning, multi-platinum selling band, and quickly soared to the top of the music world while selling some 30 Million records internationally. The band was credited with being the major influence in the rise of the Nu Metal Movement. While with Korn, Head won two grammy awards and several MTV music video awards.
In February 2005, Head shocked the music world when he resigned from Korn to re-dedicate his life to Christ and focus on raising his daughter, Jennea, as a single father. The event set off a media frenzy as observers around the world sought out to understand what led this rock star out of the darkness and into the light.
Significantly, and perhaps most importantly, upon his resignation from Korn, Head made clear to the music world that he had not retired from the music and entertainment industry. With his newfound calling, Head is committed to changing the youth of this nation through his music and other entertainment ventures. In this regard, Head penned an autobiography of his life, picked up and released by Harper Collins Publishers in July 2007, entitled, "Save Me From Myself." Head gained further acclaim as a successful author, when the book quickly hit the New York Times Best Seller List (non-fiction). In his memoir, Head talks for the first time about his shocking embrace of God, and the tumultuous decade of drug and alcohol addiction that led him to his faith, where he was completely and instantly healed of his addictions.
Head¹s debut album also entitled, "Save Me From Myself," is a testimony of his life as he battled with drug and alcohol addiction, leaving KoRn, and finding spirituality. His debut album is a heavy metal epic, with a positive message. It will leave no doubt in everyone¹s mind that Head, as a founding member of KoRn, has not lost his passion for the metal sound that originally helped make his former band famous. The Debut Album is targeted for release late this summer, and features renown musicians such as Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, Alice Cooper, David Bowie), Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, Evanescence, Nine Inch Nails). The album was mixed by Bob Clearmountain, Ralph Patlan, and Head himself.

"How much is that doggie in the window?
I do hope that doggie's for sale."
A Chihuahua puppy born in Japan with a natural heart shaped pattern on his coat has captured the hearts of animal lovers around the world.
Heart-kun, as he has been named by owner Emiko Sakurada, was born on May 18, 2007, one of a litter of puppies at the Pucchin Dogs shop.
His natural heart-shaped markings on his fur have made him an instant star in Japan. And it was a case of puppy love across the world as the tiny dog made television appearances worldwide.
Shop owner Ms Sakurada got the surprise of her life when she saw the birthmark heart markings in the fur of her tiny pooch.
She said it was the first time a puppy with these marks had been born out of the 1,000 animals that she has bred.
Since Heart-kun was born, he has brought a lot of luck, according to Ms Sakurada. He sister got lucky on the lottery and won a concert ticket.
Heart-kun's owner has been inundated with requests from people wanting to purchase the unique puppy. But they can keep their paws off him, she says, for her little four-legged friend ain't going nowhere!

New Generation Rapidshare
just about a moment ago i noticed there's a huge changes on rapidshare.com....
from the layouts to the methods...the most significant is the new logo...which i think is a lot better than the last one...
another improvement (CMIIW) is from the limit to the uploaded files...premium members can upload up to 2GB using rapidshare managers...
and the last one (which i noticed) is the link for making the link list of your files (or others files)...and with that i already make my own link list which can be found here or at the sidebar panel...this link list will also be made available on sicktwistedmindz
happy sharing.....\m/
